Today the International Space Station will fly over Brea and Fullerton and other areas of Orange County and Los Angeles. The Space Station will be visible to the naked eye. Conditions are right as there are Santa Ana Wind conditions that should keep the skys clear.
Today at 5:59PM the International Space Station will be visible for about 3 minutes. It will be traveling southwest to northeast. If you look right at 5:59PM today and look southwest horizon you will see a light appear in the sky, out of the blue, and will travel in a smooth straight line towards the San Gabriel mountains.
Last time the Space Station was visible in our area was this past summer. It looks like a big bright white star sliding through the sky.
